YOUR NEW ROLE
- Drive design thinking towards innovative healthcare planning and care models that improve patient outcomes and the caregiver environment.
- Build the firm’s healthcare practice including new and existing client relationships in Utah and the surrounding intermountain region, collaborating with firm leadership on strategic direction and business development for this market.
- Lead, coordinate, and contribute to developing project deliverables, including original design concepts, renderings, and drawings in a collaborative, team-based studio environment.
- Produce and coordinate construction documents, ensuring our deliverables meet schedule, budget, and established quality standards.
- Ensure that product and material selections contribute to high-performing care environments.
- Communicate your expertise in executing projects to other team members, clients, and contractors.
- Implement strategies supporting the firm’s vision and values.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Healthcare Design and Planning
- Healthcare practice experience with ambulatory, inpatient, and/or critical care settings.
- Licensed Architects or candidates for licensure are preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
- Working knowledge of construction materials and assemblies.
- Understanding of building codes, healthcare standards (FGI), and lean design.
- Level of proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
- Ability to coordinate and lead the work of other team members through mentorship and guidance.
- Desire to continually learn.
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills to work with a diverse team of designers.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fun, fast-paced environment.

Staff Accountant, Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area (On-site):
DESCRIPTION
Wellogy is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our Columbus office with 3-5 years of professional experience with the energy and motivation to be part of a growing team and professional family. We are seeking talented individuals who display great attention to detail and a desire for continual learning, who thrive in a collaborative team environment, and who demonstrate a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and entrepreneurial spirit. This position will support the Company’s Director of Finance with many tasks related to the daily operations of the Finance Department. Key responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable processing including vendor setup, invoice approval review, GL code set-up, 1099 reporting, check runs, and account follow-up
- Processing basic journal entries and reconciling GL accounts as assigned
- Assisting the Direct of Finance with onboarding new staff, collecting and posting timecards, responding to employee inquiries, and processing payroll
- Serving as a backup with project accounting responsibilities to include:
-Gaining an understanding of contract terms to correctly set up project invoicing
-Data or invoice entry into any client web-based project management or billing portals
-Coordinating consultant invoices and payments in accordance with agreements
-Proactively managing aged bills and overcoming payment objections
- Serving as backup to the Operations Manager on vendor/consultant agreements and project management software and other project administration tasks
- Acting as the main administrative contact for the Finance department by collecting mail, ordering supplies, managing the accounting email, fielding inquiries, and any additional general administrative functions as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
-Experience in the A/E/C industry is strongly preferred
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field with 5 years experience preferred.
- Proficiency with office and accounting software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and QuickBooks and/or other Accounting Software. Experience in software implementation is a plus.
- Attention to detail, exceptional organization, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with a diverse team of designers and project managers
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment – including the ability to meet deadlines and how to escalate workflows when necessary
- Quick study on using technology in support of accounting processes
- Desire to continually learn
