The Northland Wellness Community project will redevelop a 150-acre mall site. An initial conceptual plan solidified the four-way P3 relationship between Providence Park Hospital, Michigan State University, Lawrence Technical University, and Oakland Community College and has truly grown into a fusion building. The 542,500 sq. ft. project, delivered in three phases, carefully considers the program mix, embedding healthcare within the heart of this campus to ensure a focus on wellness. By addressing physical health, social health, economic health, and environmental health, the Wellness Community revitalizes the neighborhood and places a much-needed emphasis on training and workforce development for the surrounding community.
