A 68-acre bucolic park in Delaware, Ohio serves as a retreat, recreation, and mother and child residential camp for the Salvation Army ministry and outside faith, community, governmental and corporate groups. The Master Plan reimages the Greenwood Lake Park with proposed improvements to the campus and facilities as well as rezones the site from agricultural use to a mixed use planned community.

The Master Plan incorporates housing for Anti-Human Trafficking. Human trafficking victims are brought safely off the streets, and are provided a secure and nurturing home to begin the process to restore and improve their lives.The secluded environment across the lake from the main campus provides an ideal setting for recovery functions with its large tress and beautiful views, and secure, limited access.The plan includes dedicated space for residents of the Refuge House to receive counseling, transportation, food pantry, employment assistance, and spiritual ministry.

The progressive and visionary planned community of Nexton in Summerville, S.C. is setting the standard for healthy living.

The purpose of the Health and Wellness Area Plan is to create a shared community vision and implementation plan for improvements to the area around St. Joseph Regional Health Center and Blinn College in Bryan, Texas. Seeing the success of a community-based planned effort in revitalizing Downtown Bryan, the City of Bryan, in partnership with St. Joseph Regional Health Center, sponsored this plan. Their efforts, along with those of other stakeholders, have created this guide for future development and land uses infrastructure improvements and enhancements to this vital area.

The Blackwell Inn is the only hotel on the busy campus of The Ohio State University. Wellogy led the refresh project of the Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center. The refresh provided the much-needed elegant and contemporary update of 151 guest rooms. Design to provide a comfortable and subtle branded experience, each room refresh includes new furniture, fixtures, and finishes to complement the brand and style of the Blackwell Inn. Comforting grays and pale yellow were paired in each room with accent colors to create a fresh and uplifting environment. A unique highlight in each room is a custom headboard featuring an iconic scene from The Ohio State University campus. All restrooms were updated and enhanced with new fixtures and accents. The refresh includes a Presidential Suite, six Conference Suites, and nine Executive Lofts, and a Stadium View Suite with views of the Ohio Stadium.

Wellogy led the conversion of 29 Park Place and the Carriage House from a residential property to an Academic Engagement Center that houses a “mini-campus” elevating the academic engagement of the honors program. The new spaces include collaborative, social, meeting, and study spaces as well as office and event spaces for students and staff.

The Ohio Expo Center is a 300-acre diverse year-round facility, which accommodates approximately 200 events of all types and sizes in addition to the annual Ohio State Fair. The Ohio Expo Master Plan Update addresses current and future market demand, expansion opportunities, modernization of existing infrastructure and facilities, and improvement of customer experience.

The Lake Nona Center for Wellbeing is the inspirational heart of a new 3,000-acre mixed-use community located south and west of the Orlando, Florida airport. Tavistock Development and Signet Real Estate of Akron, Ohio are leading the project. The Center for Wellbeing is the seamless integration of a 130,000 sf, 3-story Wellness Center, a 120,000 sf, 5-story Medical Office Building, and 38,700 sf of Class A retail space. The project will set a new standard for population health and is situated at a high-profile corner of the New Town Center for Lake Nona. This unique, unprecedented architectural statement will serve as the wellness headquarters for ground-up, master-planned development of housing, retail, corporate offices, entertainment, dining, education, hospitality, and healthcare destined to be known as the healthiest community in America. Wellogy and OLC worked on the master plan for this development.

Ohio University started the renovation process with the student development of the LEAN process which mapped all the service touchpoints of the highly efficient Starbucks location. The new design maximizes revenues while decreasing the wait time for products processed in high volume in a dense part of campus. The variety of seating options, new lighting and contrasting woods create a “pop” at the service counter. Due to the nature of this high traffic area, highly durable finishes were used and the exterior door to the location was moved to streamline the ordering process and create multiple points of entry.

The Denver Beer Co. was established in 2011 to create a brewery to match the city’s personality. Whenever possible, they use the finest locally sourced ingredients to create beers that change with the seasons. With beer names like, “Graham Cracker Porter”, “Kaffir Lime Wheat”, and “Hey! Pumpkin”, The Denver Beer Co. needed a new look to reflect their fun, eclectic personality.

The new design by Wellogy got its inspiration from beer gardens in Bavaria and reflects the authentic, kicked-back vibe where friends and strangers can share food and a pint. The Barrel Room is a special gathering space adjacent to the Denver Beer Co. brewery. The Barrel Room is lined with exposed brick, stone, reclaimed barn wood, and whiskey barrels filled with aging beer. With a rustic bar, indoor/outdoor seating, and a private beer garden, this unique Denver event space celebrates the art of craft beer and our belief that the best conversations are held over a pint shared in good company.
